I am Ron Hertzog from Ellwood City, Pa. I am searching for my 1969 SS/RS frost green/black vinyl top Camaro that I ordered right after I graduated high school back in July of 1969. I don’t have the vin number or any old owner cards but on the original trim tag it should be 1969 SS/RS 396/350 BODY BY FISHER-ST 69 -12437 (NOR) PROD # ?- TR 712 -59B 08C -X22. I am not exactly sure of the build date or production # but I picked it up at the dealership in September 1969 that is why I put 08C. I have been searching for this car for the last 15 years. The original color is frost green and had a black vinyl top with black hockey stripes with the regular SS hood with the fake ports, custom black interior w/o the gauge package. There weren’t any spoilers on it and had regular black wheels with hub caps when ordered, (My dad co-signed and limited the cost) Total price was around $4500 a lot for a car back then. The last time I heard where it was my best friend had gotten a phone call as the new owner could not get a hold of me. Whoever bought it he had said was going to restore it back to original and was somewhere from around Erie, Pa. If you have any info on my old car please call me at 724-824-2455.
Thanks! Ron
